A Collision of Worlds pt 2 by ~R-mor:iconR-mor:

My hunger is never ending and insatiable. The time will come when my hunger is sated, when all will be the void and I will sleep once more. But now I must feed. This planet called “Earth” by its small fleshy inhabitants will be my next meal.

“So Superman, we need him transform right?
“Let’s go for it.”Clark used his x-ray vision to probe for a weak point in his armor.
Unicron, blinded to their presence by his hunger, opened his gaping maw in preparation for his meal.
“Our giant friend just gave away his weak spot,” said Clark as he fired his heat vision at full power, precision strikes targeting the thinnest armor plating. But the dark god didn’t notice the pinpricks of intense heat. The plating absorbed the heat as fast as Clark could release it.
“Let me try.”
“Go for it,” Clark said, blinking his eyes from the strain.
Heero flew the Wing Zero in close and shifted into robot mode, drew his twin-barrel  buster rifle and fired directly into Unicron’s maw.
A column of energy lanced out of the rifle, tearing into the thick outer plating.
Unicron rocked backwards on his axis and a hole gaped in the side of his maw.
“Who dares to strike Unicron?” His voice echoed deep within their minds.
“Creatures like you cannot be allowed to live if peace is ever to be realized.”
Heero aimed directly into Unicron’s maw and fired once more, damaging the delicate machinery.
“If you’re really a god,” Clark taunted, as he tore at the heavy outer plating with his bare hands, “then prove it!”
“Very well. I will erase you as easily as I will your insignificant world.”
Clark was thrown off his feet by a sudden movement beneath him as the destroyer began to transform.
“Superman calling Optimus,” Clark said into his radio. “First assault is complete. Prepare to begin phase 2.”

A mile away the others waited. “I’ve got to see this.” Ed said as he used his alchemy to change the composition of the box, making one side transparent while leaving its strength and durability intact.
The room fell silent as they watched the transformation take place.
Arms that could crush moons in their embrace unfolded from the back of the planet. The hands that extended from them were large enough to tear a mountain range from its foundation. The legs and feet could fill all but the largest lakes and seas. The ring that surrounded the chaos gods’ planetoid form separated and reshaped itself into a pair of skeletal wings that, had they been more substantial, would have blocked out the sun. As the chaos bringer’s head rose above his shoulders, Ed, a self proclaimed atheist, was the only one who was able to break the silence.
“Oh my God.”

Paula opened her mind to the energy that coursed through the Earth, seeking a nexus, a point where the energy gathered and concentrated.
“The Central Park Zoo.”
“Will it be enough?”
“I’d know better if you’d tell me what you were planning, but it’s the best I can do.”
“What are you planning Mason?”
“You heard Prime, Al,” Mason said as he stepped on the gas. “The matrix needs a boost.”

As Unicron completed his transformation Magneto began moving the crate forward, gaining speed quickly in the vacuum of space.
“Superman. I don’t think I’ll have enough speed to crash this thing through his eye. I’ll need some assistance.”
“No problem!”
Clark easily avoided Unicron’s clumsy swing and with one massive blow he shattered Unicron’s right eye.
“There’s your door. See what you can do. Heero and I will hold him here as long as we can.”
As the crate made its entry Alucard leapt off and drew his guns. “Don’t think I’ll let you have all the fun boy scout!”
He fired directly into Unicron’s face but rounds designed to kill vampires and ghouls proved woefully insufficient against him.
Unicron brought his hands together and crushed the vampire between them.
“No!” shouted Clark and Heero in unison.

“If we’re gonna do something we need to do it fast.” said Shifter. “Alucard just ate it.”
“Any ideas Prime?” Toyo said as he drew his sword.
“I’m afraid random destruction is the best we can do until Mason gives me the signal.”
Wolverine unsheathed his claws. “That works for me.”
Voltage began overloading circuitry while Toyo and Wolverine began their wanton destruction.
“We’ve got company!” Ed shouted as a horde of clawed tentacles extended from the walls.
R-mor’s blaster and arm blade made quick work of them but there seemed to be no end to Unicron’s internal defenses.
Ed used his alchemy on a large chunk of wreckage and turned it into a powerful explosive. Magneto then sent it crashing into a wall opening an escape route.
        “Through here!”
        “Is that really better?”
        “How could it be worse?”

Mason, Paula, and Al were busy building a medicine wheel over a transmutation circle.
The stones had been used by his family for years, and would boost the power of the magic.
“Al, I need you to dump some of that energy into the wheel. Can you do that?”
        “I’ll try.”
Al placed his hands on the circle and poured the energy into it.
“Hurry, Mason! I don’t know how long I can keep this up!”
Mason stepped into the array and made a shallow cut in his hand with his hunting knife. He allowed the crimson liquid to drip to the ground before he raised his eyes to the sky. “Gods of my fathers! Hear my call in our hour of need.”

“Already they fall before me!” Unicron gloated as he inspected the red smear that Alucard had been reduced to.
“No!” Heero raised his twin buster rifle and fired tearing a small but painful hole in the dark god’s side.
He never saw Clark charge in a blur of red and blue. He struck Unicron on the cheek at close to 800 mph staggering the dark god.
The bloody smear of Alucard slid smoothly off Unicron’s hand.
“Releasing control art restriction system to level one.” While Alucards voice was silent in the void of space the power behind it was felt by them all. The bloody mess began to come together. Soon it looked human again.
Alucard, now dressed in sleek red leather, his hair floating free in zero g, laughed in maniacal silence.
“It will take far more than one measly god to defeat me!” Madness danced in his eyes as his voice boomed through their radios. “Come minions! Tear him apart!”                             Hundreds of ghoulish figures appeared around him.
        Together they dove at Unicron.
The dark god launched a salvo of proton missiles to take out the creatures, but there were far too many of them, and they began to tear at Unicron’s armor.
Now they had a new problem.
The missiles were now streaking through the blackness of space toward Earth.
Heero raised his twin buster rifle and split it down the middle, and fired. One blast hit Unicron in the chest rocking him backwards in pain. The other vaporized most of the missiles headed to Earth.
“I’ll take ‘em!” shouted Clark as a blue and red blur streaked past and quickly pulled them into new trajectories that would take them far away from Earth.
“Good job. Now, if only these guys would hurry up.”

“I call upon the pacts of worship signed in blood by my ancestors.” Blood continued to drip from his hand and as each drop hit the energy baked it into the ground.
With each sizzling spatter the animals gathered close around him, their eyes filled with an unearthly glow.
“Noble Wolf, proud Bear, sly and cunning Coyote,” A shadow fell over him and he looked up to see the Thunderbird. “Great Thunderbird, my friend, I ask for your help against a global threat.”
“Yes. I too have seen the great destroyer in the sky. What do you ask of us?”
“Our new allies have a weapon, the crystallized essence of their god, that can destroy Unicron. But its power is depleted from previous use, and they fear that it will be extinguished if they use it again. I ask that you share your power with them.”
“A small matter and one we do gladly.”
As one they cried into the sky and poured their energy into the medicine wheel.
Mason plunged his knife into the ground breaking the circle and releasing the energy into the sky.
Paula turned on her radio. “Prime do it now!”

“It’s now or never!” Prime shouted over the din. “Keep these things out of the way!”Prime blasted another tentacle that had been coming for his head.
“You got it Prime!”Toyo leapt out of the shadows to sever a tentacle that had been about to grab Ed.
Together they formed a rather disjointed perimeter around Optimus.
As he opened his chest pierced the blackness and Unicron shuddered.
Optimus reached into his chest and pulled out the matrix, a shell of orange titanium wrapped around a shining core of blue-white crystal suspended within an ovoid ring of white steel.
The tentacles began writhing in pain.
“Now” Optimus pulled at the ring. “Light our darkest hour.” The shell split in half down the middle revealing the whole crystal. Tendrils of blue light whipped around the room ripping Unicron apart from the inside out.
        “It’s working!” Shifter yelled.
“I don’t think it’s working fast enough.” Magneto said calmly as he deflected debris that threatened to crush them.
Slowly however, the light grew in power, the energy of Primus mixing with that of Earth’s animal gods. The purity of the light tore through the dark god like a scythe.
“No!” Unicron bellowed. “Primus! I thought myself rid of you!”
        “Mason’s idea worked!” shouted Toyo.
“Everybody, back in the box!” Wolverine yelled as he cut an exit into the wall.
“You’re taking too long human!” Galvatron shouted as he fired his electrochemical cannon and blew open a hole large enough for everyone to escape through.
“I gotta get me one of those!” Voltage said as he bolted for the box.
One by one they filed into the crate, which Ed then resealed.
Magneto levitated above the box reached out with his powers and lifted the box and they made their exit just before Unicron’s power core went critical.
“Nooo!” Unicron’s final word rang through their minds as he exploded into a billion pieces.
        R-mor activated his radio.
“My scanners won’t work in this box. Can anyone tell me if any of those chunks still pose a threat?”
“My scanners show only three pieces large enough to cause significant damage.” Heero answered. “We can take care of them.”
Heero vaporized one piece with his buster rifle, while Clark used his vast strength to send the other two hurtling into deep space.

They landed near Mason, Paula, and Al. Together they celebrated the victory.

“You have all done the multiverse a great service. It will take a long time for Unicron to pose a threat again.” said Access as he opened a door of light. “Come, I shall send you home.”
One by one they each said their goodbyes and stepped through the door to their home universes.

London

Seras began to panic. Why had her master vanished? She was almost out of ammo, and her undead strength wouldn’t hold out forever.
Soon the ghouls would overwhelm her.
“Ha ha ha ha!” Seras spun around at the sound of her master’s maniacal laughter and saw him tearing ghouls apart with his bare hands. What are you staring at child? Join the fun!”

1407 Graymalkin Lane, Salem Center, New York

Wolverine and Magneto appeared at the front entrance of the Xavier Institute.
“Wonder if Charlie’ll believe this one?”
“No one’s been able to lie to him since he was 9 logan. He’ll have to.”
With that Magneto rose into the sky and sped off to find his own comrades.

The desert near Lior

Ed looked at Al, “Think anyone will believe us?”
“Probably not, but we’ll always know.”
“Yeah. Come on. It looks like we might still have time to stop Scar.”

Metropolis

Clark Kent flew high over the city. Spying a certain building he angled downward for a landing. He hit the balcony and quickly grabbed some less recognizable clothes and found Lois in the kitchen making dinner.
       “Did I miss anything interesting?”
“Nothing your friends at the league couldn’t handle.”

Deep space

Qatra was having difficulties. The Gundam pilots were being overwhelmed by sheer numbers. Pretty soon even their skills wouldn’t be enough.
A light blinked in and out of existence at the corner of his vision but before he could identify it three mobile dolls were destroyed by a massive blast of energy.
“It’s Heero!” Duo shouted over the radio.

Cybertron

Optimus Prime and Galvatron materialized in the ruins of Iacon.
“We work well together.”
“Do not presume to think that this changes anything Prime. I will claim this world and I’ll have your head for a trophy.” The ever present madness faded a bit from his eyes. “For today however you have my respect and a reprieve.”
“I’ll take what I can get.” Optimus transformed and drove away towards the Autobot rendezvous point. He never saw Galvatron take aim. Sanity won out however and he did not fire.

Meanwhile in Central Park

The door closed. Access turned to the Protectorate.
“You have done well. This Earth is in good hands.”
       “Thank you”
Access smiled as he faded into golden light.
